Adela Holmes
Adela was born in Poland. Her family escaped Socialism by fleeing to West Berlin, Germany in 1981.
At Age 21 she moved to the United States.
After two kids, a college degree, and a divorce, Adela struggled as a single mom to be a full-time employee and a half-time mother. This forced her to freelancing, to devote more time to her children.
In the course of coincidences she became an assistant to the artist Laura DiNello, who handed her a camera as a gift. And that’s how her photography career started.
Now that her kids are grown, Adela moves freakquently to different cities as the “Vagabonda” in her is calling. Her next move it back to Berlin for a few years.
